Cees,

Most if not all of the underwater wrecks in the Truk have been declared war graves. By the local Goverment so to get permission to recover anything you have to first prove that no one died on the wreck secound get permission from the Jap. Gov. then after all that hope the local official grant you a permit.

I know a guy who try to raise one or two planes and ran into the above problem.,
