Hypothetical question

I am not a collector in the sense of owning a warbird project for restoration, but suppose the following happens:
In Russia (or some other remote location) a cache of say 10 complete and crated airframes (Spitfire, Me109 etc.) is discovered. Because of the excellent preservation restoration would be very easy to put these back into the air.
What would the effect be on the warbird market? Would that result in collectors seing their investment decreasing in value. Would this make dealers trying to buy the whole lot to protect the market. And last but not least would there be new (unknown) buyers who want to own a restoration project?
This is purely hypothetical but this has been in my mind for some years now and I am just curious as usual.
Fire away
Cheers
Cees
