John,

The account of the visit to this wreck states that the cockpit is still there but embedded into the soft ground. The writer of the book claimed that when he shone with his torch into the area where the nose was supposed to be the illuminated instrument dials glowed back at him. The general condition of the wreck was said to be very good.

Time to recover it.
