I believe this was Elmer Ward's Bearcat (from Chino) that crashed upon/after takeoff at Oshkosh a few years back. Fighter Rebuilders built a jig and repaired the main portion of the fuselage a few years back. The partially repaired aircraft is now in storage in Chino. The aircraft is now on hold due to Elmer's health problems as I recall.
