I believe the question was regarding a Bearcat in Gulfhawk colors that crashed and broke its back. I am not aware that this has ever happened to N700A. N700A was also never to my knowledge (at least since I first saw it at the Champlin museum years ago) painted in orange, it was in a root beer brown (reddish brown, certainly not orange) color with black stripes.

I don't have that issue of Flypast however, so I don't know which aircraft was pictured...

Is this the aircraft in question?: http://www.crystalgraphix.com/images/CGMG-04.jpg ????
