Simon,
You have confused me.
This aircraft has been in the same family ownership, my namesake, since acquired from Jean Frelaut in 1988.
If it has parts from other Aeronavale Seafires it would not have been at the expense of those aircraft.
Typically Spitfires and Seafires that have survived are bound to have donated parts on them to keep them operational to the end of their military service.
I could, for example, find panels and cowlings from five different Seafire XV's on one of the aircraft released by the Burmese military.
