Thanks for your response, Rob.
Dan - IIRC, the -7s were either the last off the Vought line, or very close to it; on the other hand, the age of the SB2Cs.........?!!
It was a bit dumb of the French Navy not to keep one -7. Recently, I think some French individual has had another model converted to -7 standard and delivered to France.
