To expand on the Halifax tailplane - the one that is currently on there is, so I'm told, wooden. I've not looked closely myself. I've also been told that it had an unfortunate accident at an airshow with the Victor, and looks a little droopy now.
The team are now building a new tailplane from aluminium.
