Am I wrong that the RAF always does anything they can to pamper AVRO-types but ignores those from Handley Page.

You want proof?

Why a Valiant and Vulcan under cover in one location and a Victor leaving outside to rot somewhere else.
Why putting a Lancaster in the middle of the Bomber Command Hall and refurbishing it (as is being done now) and cutting costs by restoring a Hampden only half and leaving a Halifax in semi-derelict state lying on its belly nearby
