Barn built from a Lancaster?

Hi all,

On the FlyPast forum is also mention of a story about a Lancaster that was used to build a shed. It was supposed to be in England. Any ideas?

I only know of the story of a Lancaster in Canada that was put on bricks and the owner planned to built walls under the wings creating a barn of sorts. The Lanc was slowly sinking into the ground when at a certain point the wings were almost crushing the roof of his house. The airframe was bought by the RCAF and used for spare parts to keep the Lancs in use flying and the centresection was incorporated into FM213, now flying with the CWH.

But is there any truth in a Lancaster in the UK being used as a barn? or is there a mix up somewhere.

Cees
