Just a little confusion with the interpretation.
The limited number of airworthy Spitfires that come on to the market place in any one time will sell at the current market value assuming they are not distress sales. My point was that quite a few restorations have over run estimates of budget and timing and in the end had more money sunk into them than the then current market value.
