I think you missed my point a bit.....but never mind.
Thanks for clearing up the ownership of LA255, always good to get the facts straight.
Yes, to get LA flying again, it would require a lot of work, and it would lose some of it's authenticity and history in the process. But this is exactly what is going to happen to ML119 as well, it happens to the vast majority of warbirds during rebuild, so what's so different about doing it to LA if someone wanted to ?
In a perfect world we wouldn't have to throw away bits of the real plane , but if we want to see any fly at all ,then we have just got to accept it.
