Very interesting link.

I got curious as to what will happen to sites like this. Clearly a good number of components can be reusuable in current existing projects. If there is a shortage of airfrmes of this type elsewhere, what will happen to such sites?

Is it acceptable for collectors/restorers to 'rescue' the wrecks and pieces for one of the 'data plate'restorations?

I cant imagine a similar Hurricane or Spitfire wreck surviving out there for so many years.

So whats the status of such sites? are they protected against souvenir hunters/vandalism or from serious restorers(sorry to put all of them in the same line ;-))
