Charles:

Have alot of information on these aircraft while they were tested at Rockcliffe with the RCAF's Exper. Test Flight. I have found no testing records yet as a result from some earlier research I have done at the DND Archives and the National Archives of Canada. Rockcliffe and another test station {cant remember name} were the two locations that I know of so far with only 2 documented airframes taking part.

Hurricane 5426 was being tested in late 1941 to around May of 1942 when she went missing while on a routine exercise flight in bad weather just south of Bagotville, PQ. Her RAF pilot Sgt Hk Green was never found. I have reason to believe that I found the lake he crashed/landed on after running out of fuel or bailing out. Working with the DND, Commonwealth War Graves Comm., and the British High Comm here in Canada to find more records on the accident and posibly himself along with his Hurricane. I have found a few pictures of this aircraft and just yesterday found out that the skis used by the RCAF and National Research Council reside at the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa. No photos scaned yet - sorry

E-mail me off board at one of these addresses as I have much of the information you are seeking.
