Hi Simon,
You may be right about the remains at East Kirkby being one frame, I don't know for certain, either way.
However, the remains of AE436 consist mainly of the cockpit area and are understandably, subtantially wrecked. Further, the airframe being rebuilt is also the cockpit area and from memory, this all appears to be new metal.
Hopefully, when my prints are returned, I will be able to confirm both.
