No, I'm sure the MATS Connie actually did visit Duxford on another occasion - I have a pic somewhere which I think was taken there. Think the reason why she didn't land at Dx was becasue she was based at the PFA Rally at Cranfield that weekend. Perhaps a bit short for a touch and go though?
