Good question and at first appears easy to answer, the Lancaster is my favourite but then I start thinking about the (and in no particular order)....

Whirlwind
Typhoon
Wellington
Halifax (to keep Cees happy)
Stirling
Beaufighter
Mosquito
B24
Me262
Do335

The list could be endless but if I've got a gun to my head, I would have to pick the Lancaster everytime.

The sound of 4 merlins is something that is very special.
