Peter,
The brass switch is mounted on a seperate bracket that bolts onto the main panel. So the only thing that has to be done is drilling four holes in the panel. I have a bracket that I drew myself but am not sure if it is correct but information about this one is very sketchy to say the least.
The question how the two panels are fitted together has been bothering me too for some time but the recent post of the photo of the main panel seems to show that there is a row of boltholes on the bottom of the main panel suggesting an angled strip which fits the two together, that is also the way YAM have joined their panels. I have some photographs I took from W1048 some months ago showing the back of the panels but they are not too clear about this. Same goes for the blind flying panel
Matt,
Yes I would love to know if the AWM still have the main panel either on display where no-one can see it (?) or in storage (woud be a shame).
Cees
