I remember reading in Time magazine about the purchases made to 'cover' up the statue. Time magazine had a photo of Ashcroft and the statue in the background and the story mentioned that some hefty amount has been spent buying curtains which once used will block the statue out from the 'view'. The Irony of the photograph was that Ashcroft was talking about new Anti-porn laws or a bill when the issue was publicised with that photograph.

That said, my take on the nose art. Either it has to be original or It should not be used. So I would prefer a completely new noseart that is original and tame than painting 'unauthentic' bikini tops on the lady in 'Dragon and its Tail'.
