Looking for any advice on how and where I would find any records relating the X4555 while flying with No. 92 Sqd during the tail-end of the BoB.
It flew with 92 Sqd from Sept 28 till Nov 1, 1940 when I was shot-up and forced down with H P/O H. Saunders (RAF)at the controls. I am trying to locate the Sqd's history to try and document the entire history of this aircraft while it was flying in the BoB with the unit. Unit codes, flight logs, combat history etc. Any clues where to start at the PRC? Is there collection on a "online database" for researchers to locate these files???
Any clues,if and when I find them, as to what I will find inside them??
As well X4555 flew with the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough. Looking for the institute/museum that has copies of the test flight made there. Be interested in finding copies of any of X4555 flights.
Any clues??
