Firstly .. let's hope the Indian authorities don't subscribe to Flypast , Aeroplane or Flugzeug Classic.!
It will indeed be unfortunate that public release relating to the 'find' causes a delay in the paperwork that allows shipment of the aircraft to the U.K.
That said .. it is a little late to curb discussion and speculation relating to the identity and history of the machine , on this or other forums .... not to mention all the conversations going on off board ! It is fascinating and let's face it.. just plain fun . How close can we get to the truth without knowing the wk.nr.???? Which scenario will be closest to the mark ??? . In a way the confirmation of the wk.nr. may well be an anti climax ;-0
The information should never have been published in two major international magazines if there was any concern that this would jeopodize ongoing discussions with authorities..... What if permission is denied ? Will the aircraft be destroyed ? Will the Indians perhaps realize the significance of the aircraft to their history and incorporate it in the fine AFM at Palam ? Should that be what happens to it anyway ????

Looking forward to your thoughts on that ;-)

regards
Dave
