Thanks for all of the input from everyone.

Following up about the tail section however, if it is the one that used to be at Appledram then it is only a horizontal stabiliser. It was in good shape however and if you had one for the other side then you could certainly have used it in a rebuild.

I don't know to much about the Typhoon's useage overseas but wasn't it used in the Far East as well ?. Perhaps this might be a good place to look. I really can't believe that such a relatively mass produced aeroplane could not have left a bigger footprint on the world.
