Hurricane Identity

According to the notes from the RAF musuem it was Hurricane IIc LF686 went to the states. I think this is the one that is nearing the completion of its restoration.
The request was made to the Smithsonian....it was stored in Silver Hall, Suitland,Maryland (apparently this is not the Paul E Garber facility of NASM. MN235 arrived back missing 1 cannon, spinner, most engine cowlings,starbord aileron, undercarriage parts, radiator + oil cooler, side panels below the cockpit and various inspection panels!!! They adapted the spinner from HP Hastings.
