I actually had more the 'collective readership's' cherished Spitfire in mind rather than you personally.
I believe Peter Godfrey would not have bought the 'orphan' DM Spitfire without the ID and I say that from close contact with all parties. No change in my position.
My understanding is that the DM.008 fuselage project was interwoven with the disposal of all the Charles Church Spitfire effects and not owned personally by Harry Stenger. Peter
