Those fiberglass replicas weren?t cheap. Tim Routsis contracted Feggans Brown to manufacture twelve of them for his exchange deal in the late eighties. Four for each real one and the price was ?40,000 each.
I wonder how much a scale 1/1 airfix Lancaster might set you back today? Limited serial production?
