of bits of Spitfire V W3830 of 234 Sqn that force landed on Alderney on 2nd Novemner 1941 causing P/O B W Meyer to be a POW surviving in any barn, hole in the ground or something is their?
I cannot image that the Germans would go to the trouble of sending it to the mainland when they were getting Spitfire V's all the time from Ramrod operations at this time...
