: Corsair, TBM with a Mustang coming in the future. And now
: a Yak-3??? It just seems out of character with the rest

Dennis,
Would you turn down the donation of a figher? Not me:) Remember they already have a Storch, so this isn't the first non American aircraft in the collection. I am told that the YAK may be painted in the markings of the "Night Witches" squadron of all female pilots. I think that would be a great addition to the warbird world. Especially if they could find a female to fly it. Remind everyone that military aviation just isn't all men.
Actually it was explained to me that the Foundation sometimes has a issue with all the fighters. The bombers can tour all year long, but it is hard to tour the fighters. So they sort of don't fit in real well.
As far as the Mustang goes, you are talking about the Allison project right?
Jim
