This sounds like a bloke called Nobua Harate (or something like that), who i've read lots of articles about. He has the wrecks of three Zero's, one of which may fly. I can't think of any other private collections of warbirds in Japan. Aside from a handful of Zero's and other types scattered around museums, there doesn't seem to be much interest over there. Shame that there isn't at least one really decent collection of Japanese warbirds anywhere.
