Being an avid Lanc fan, my heart would feel that such a move would be sacrilege and you should be made to sit in a darkened room until you realise the error of your ways.

But, my head being full of common-sense (occasionally)realises that without the Manchester.................

Seriously, much would obviously depend upon the history of the donor airframe, would Easy Elsie be a candidate for conversation. I do think so, due to the history and connections with 617.

But, should a suitable donor frame be located and the conversation could be properly funded then why not.

The finished aircraft would be a welcome addition to my Bomber Command museum to be based at Scampton - whoops, back to the bank manager giving me millions again.
