Hello Peter,
Thanks for your reply.
We know the aircraft to be DV286 with codes BH-C. So far we have found sections of fuselagepanelling bearing parts of the individual letter C. This has been confirmed by the transportjoint beteen the mainfuselage and the tailsection, the structural members of the bombay and some of the windows (the section when laid out was about 6 metres long giving a good reference).
We also found fuselage panelling of the other side which also had part of the individual codeletter C on it. So far no squadroncodes have been found. Very frustrating as you think that the location of the aircrafts serial was only 40cm to the right of the sections we found. On the rudder we found last month was a serialplate but it was too far gone and couldn't be saved.
Are there any area's where the serialnumber is punched into the skin? If you have any sketches showing the locations then I would be very grateful.
Cheers
Cees
