Hi Stuart,

I had already read your post on the FP-forum, like you I don't like to register so am just lurking regularly.

I don't get the impression that he knows about the camshaft, in fact I think many people don't. When I bought the book in 1996 (yep long time ago) I didn't believe it at first but then again stranger things have happened. So the York/Lanc wing saga doesn't surprise me either.

I do know that Lancman is very very very picky about non-standard fittings etc on Lancs, so if the wing was swapped he would know.
