I agree with Scott that any ex-military aircraft is a Warbird. I would expect that if the former RCAF/CAF CT-133s are sold we will see more of the type on the airshow circuit. It would also be nice to see more F-104s.

I just transferred to a new project at work. Someday I hope to point to a former NATO E-3 someday and say I put some software on that one! OK, maybe a stretch, but maybe Mr. Travolta could be convinced!

Mike

: Hi All,
:

: on the later model warbirds, i.e. from the Korean and Viet

: like to see at airshows, museums, being restored to flying

: hese "newer" warbirds? For anyone interested in getting a
: warbird, there appears to be some good deals out there for
: aircraft projects such as T-28's, OV-1 Mohawk's, S2F Trac
: kers, Cessna O-2's, Beechcraft U-8's and even the odd T-37
: and A-37 jets. I was just looking at Barnstormers and Eba
: y and noticed some great deals including a T-28 restoratio
: n project just released from the Navy and a S2F for $15K.
: I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this.
