P.S. Disable that pesky digital zoom "feature"...

I'd rather have a larger photo to crop later. That gives you more flexibilty to keep the subject in the viewfinder, yet still gives you the maximum resolution capability of your camera. You may use a little more memory, so just get a larger (128 megabyte) Smart Media card (or two, or three, or four)...
