Interestingly we covered this a few month's ago in FlyPast and it didn't get much correspondence. It's entirely up to HFL and ARCO as to what they call her - having said that I don't think it's insensitive in any way. It's a simple fact that a company website isn't likely to have details on it which people might find insensitive. Would Railtrack have picture's and details of their unfortunate crashes - I doubt it!
I am in the minority in thinking that the sum total of lives lost in her far outweigh's her value - if I owned her at the time of the crash I wouldn't think twice about running her through the smelter.
That's my opinion and no doubt the are going to be a large number of fatal crash machine's reappearing on the air show circuit which are going to test public opinion.
