1500 miles?
Tulio, Warsaw,Poland is 1476 miles from me! eeeeerrrr that is some distance. I have driven it before, that was an adventure in itself.Just me, and a Ford Xr3i I remember, great little car . Got busted for speeding over the Polish border. Couldn't resist it, 2 miles of dead straight road over the border, doing 110 miles an hour, and a guy steps out with a lollipop in his hand, good thing the ABS worked as advertised. $10.00 fine , I remember giving him a jar of coffee as well. Sorry I digress.
In other words, it would be just as quick for me to go transatlantic, hire a Car in Vegas or Kingman and go look myself.
Well, it is definitely still there, and it's complete. As regards USAAC aircraft, I believe pre-1965 and no bodies in the wreckage, and it's help yourself. I believe the red tape may be more at state level, so you can deal with it, or is the P47 not such a desirable aircraft? I don't know if its a D or a B/C I don't think the nice lady was THAT knowledgeable, well maybe someone stateside can go into more detail about it.
Best regards
Tony
