Or an Absolute Discharge?
There is a difference you see......
Conditional Discharge.....
Where no penalty is imposed by a court but if the defendant commits another crime during the period of the conditional discharge he can be sentenced for both the new offence and the original one.
Absolute Discharge.......
When the court does not wish to impose a penalty, an absolute discharge is granted.
Now in the B+H report, it says a "conditional discharge", so which one is it?

: Andrew Saunders: An apology
: In some editions of Tuesday's Argus, our story about Andre

: headlined "Expert admits grave theft".
:
: Mr Saunders, HAVING PLEADED GUILTY TO A TECHNICAL OFFENCE
: (In other words, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge) of

: exonerated by His Honour Judge Rennie of any dishonesty a
: nd, in fact, was praised by the judge for his sterling eff

:
: Mr Saunders received a conditional discharge and a defenda

:
: We apologise for the inaccuracies and any embarrassment ca
: used to Mr Saunders.
:
: So a nice result for Mr. Saunders. So , does this sterling
: effort, encompass the "Nice Bits" from mid-air collision
: s and the like, that he was advertising on Barnstormers an
: d his own aero jumble site?
:
: Just in case you didn't realise Peter, MOD are loath to br

: n't win. They thought they had enough to go with in this c
: ase, but they lost.
:
: There are others , that do sterling work, in aircraft reco

: d. However, I don't see them advertising a dozen times in
: one day on the Barnstormers board, selling bits of aircraf

:
: That is my personal feeling, I was not in court, I don't k
: now what Mr. Saunders defence, or the prosecution case was
: .
:
: Well, it will be interesting to see how MOD deal with the
: next case they come across
