MESSERSCHMITT BF 108 B-1 ? AVAILABLE FOR SALE!!
.. PHOTO .. Built in Regensburg 1937 and delivered to a Luftwaffe
Luftdienst commando in Werneuchen near Berlin in nov. 1937 In 1944
it was stationed at Deining near N?rnberg. Here the aircraft was stolen
in 1945 by two frenchmen who were forced to do duty in the Luftwaffe. Early in the
morning of 3' marts the succeeded in making the aircraft ready for flight and start
out on a flight towards France without the Germans managed to stop them. Near
Strasbourg they were intercepted by a Spitfire and forced to land. In 1948 the
aircraft came on the French register as F-BBRH and had two owners before it in
1960 shows up on the Danish register as OY-AIH. Until 1967 it was mainly used for
target towing for the air defense artillery. Aircraft facts:1952 Apparently overhauled
in France 1960 Overhauled in Denmark, Airframe and Engine TSO 0:00 Hrs 1973
Low oil-pressure, Eng replaced, "new" Eng TSO 280 Hrs 1994 Sep 22 Last flight,
Airframe TSO 507 Hrs, Engine TSO 397 Hrs 1995 50 Hrs inspection and some
AD's carried out 2000 Aircraft dismantled and moved from Sonderborg Airport to
the present location The aircraft have never had a fully restoration and is not fully
original in all systems, We believe the instrument panel was replaced in France
and same time there were also installed electric starter in steed of air pressure
start. We don't have any logbooks from the time in Germany and France. Contact
