Cees .. I believe the Hurricane is about 5% original and cost some $5 million NZ dollars to rebuild to fly. The airshow comentators [ AFC ] make it clear when describing her 'pedigree' to the crowd that she is mostly new , and obviously has to be when all they started with was a wrecked center section.
Of course it is a tremendous site to see in the air and a tribute to the many Kiwis who fought and died flying them .
