Aircraft maintenance ship HMS Perseus, from the records, is the ship that we know was tasked to dump aircraft and equipment off the Queensland coast after WWII. I have a personal interest here as Seafires are reported to have been dumped (and floated down and three pointed on the ocean bed!). I saw some of the hooked/grappled/fishing net recovered material at Noosa, Corsair and Firefly, a few years ago and the corrosion levels are intersting.
Could you please tell exactly where and how I can view the photos 'posted to the board'.
