A/c dumped off carriers at end of WW2

Recently on the board there was a discussion about the romour of a/c being dumped off aircraft carriers at the end of WW2.
Many years ago I interviewed a FAA machanic who let me copy his pictures.
I have finally managed to get my scanner to work with Win 98, so I can scan photos again !!!!
The carrier was HMS Pereus ? she was apparently a maintenace carrier. I have sent the scanned photos to the board.
Hope the pics are of interest and help prove that a lot of romours are actually based on fact.The a/c types can be identified from the photos.
