Hello Paul, Its me again.
If this (finally) is the point of your arguement then I simply don`t understand it.
"However, my real point is that a complete, ground up restoration i.e. a jacked up data plate is not the same as an aircraft that is born from a wreck no matter how much of that structure is replaced."
Why not? If the same amount of material was replaced, what is the difference?
Surely only your own perception? Its different purely because you think its different. What if you didn`t know the history?
You talk a lot about "the spirit of the thing" - but thats a tad difficult to quantify, wouldn`t you agree?
I`m sure you won`t deign to answer me, as a mere know nothing, bulls$%t spouting, repeater of hearsay -Isn`t that what you said yesterday?(Oh and ex airframe engine fitter and structure analyst).
What do I know compared to the God like powers of a journalist.
Cheers dear,
James
