misunderstood my question.

I, too believe all generations, should, and hopefully will feel as strongly in the future, about WWII warbirds, as so many do today.

What I wonder about, is whether today's aircraft can evoke the same emotions, and feelings that the WWII planes do now.

Personally, for all the reason's both, you, and Mike outline, plus some other's, I do not see how there could possibly be as much interest in the plane's of today.
