NF920 is the Porjus ex-Tirpitz Lanc.I don't know about the fact it is a historical area,none of the Swedish authorities seem to know or for that matter, care.Apparently the Swedish Air Force decided "Elsie" was no longer their jurisdiction, and the Air Force museum returned the tail to Porjus as "it was not of historical significance".
Is it possible that the historical bit is a rumour to stop recoveries/souveneir hunters?It sounds a bit conspirational but it wouldn't be the first time.
