I'd like to see a picture of that canoe! I think that in the WW2 documentary "Thunderbolt" there is a picture of a drop tanl being used in Sicily as a small motorboat or a canoe.
Where I have seen drop tanks being used are on old amusement park rides, the ones that spin around with a bunch of arms like an octopus with little airplane cars suspended below from chains. The kids sit in a seat installed in a large hole in the top of the tank. Oftentimes little wings are fitted to add to the effect.
Has anyone else seen anything like this?
