I'm not sure on that one Dave, sorry but I'm only the grease monkey ;) The Tiffie cowl (as I'm assuming this is what you would be after) is shorter in comparison and the cowling panels actually contain part of the leading edge of the wing and some root fairings, though you could probably tell me more about the Tiffie than I could possibly imagine. When was MN235 from the RAFM last restored? as this would be the best way to make a set of cowls though I'm not saying it would be easy, the set for EJ693 must've cost a MASSIVE amount, somewhere in the tens of thousands I would think. I like the idea of the Griffon conversion as I have great doubts over the reliability issue concerning the Sabre and seeing as a Griffon from today could probably push out enough to power such a machine as a Tempest or Tiffie I hope someone will perform such a feat.
