I doubt very much if the RAF (I guess you mean RAFM) has a single nut and bolt from PN223. You've got to remember that it was very early 1960s when it was junked ie before the preservation thing really got started. As far as I recall, PN223 was then the property of either Handley Page or STC (Standard Telephones and Cables - a radio/communications manufacturing company) and was, I think, then being used as a test article for radio antenna installations. The twin tail had gone and had been replaced by a single, tall, fin.
I never saw it, but a photograph showed it was pretty derelict.
