I thought it was, "never lost an aircraft in an accident". In the last year or so a Quantas 747 skidded off the end of a wet runway. There was substantial damaged to the forward fuselage. Now my memory is a little cloudy on this, but I think I read in Aviation Week that the insurance company was ready to write off the plane, but Quantas opted to repair (rebuild?) so they could maintain their claim of never having lost an aircraft.
Not poking fun at Quantas. I don't fly often, but when ever I do I wish it could be with Quantas on every flight with a reputation like that!

: Hi Guys,
: Just like to correct something here ( as this fallacy is m

: The statement that Qantas has never had an accident is inc

: Believe me, this is not a Qantas bash by any means. They
