This may well be the recovered and scrapped one.

I think I recall that it was recovered from a lake near RAF Skellingthorpe, the other side of Lincoln, although the lake in question might be between Waddington and the above......but never say never.....not till the facts are checked anyway!

What was the serial number of the scrapped one, it was in that big Midland Counties Manchester book with the photos....anyone got a copy?
