Hi,
about the Manchesters, there is supposed to be one in a lake near RAF Waddington,Lincs.I don't think it's the one that was scrapped in the 50's but I'll have to check serial numbers. It had to overshoot and when the pilot opened up the throttles only one of the Vultures responded.It skimmed some trees while trying to remain airborne and ended up in a lake.
