: This does look like a perfect example of an aeroplane that will actually represent the kind of exhibit that Hendon has done with the Halifax. Just think how powerfull an exhibit like this would be at somewhere like Hendon in a mock up of its final resting place. Then of course it would be the perfect opportunity to release the Halifax to be restored properly. With regard to some of the posts about restoring the Lanc, I think that would kind of damage the authenticity of what this represents. There are quite a lot of Lancs out there really if you really do want to find and restore a good one.
